Based upon and having all of the design and security benefits of the REHAU TOTAL70 70mm profile, fire resistant windows supplied by Innovate Aluminium act as an affordable and functional alternative to traditional steel and timber fire frames.
Offering all the safety and security benefits you’d expect from a fire resistant product, our fire windows also maintain the inherent benefits of typical uPVC frames such as thermal insulation, sound proofing and increased durability.
The pinnacle of fire resistant technology
Adapted from the popular REHAU S706 window, the RAUFERNO fire resistant variant from Innovate Aluminium makes use of an intumescent strip that allows it to expand with heat. This means they can effectively offer 30 minute fire resistance to aid in escape. They are successfully able to create a reinforcement barrier against any flame, thanks to the use of fire retardant glass also.
The window system provides a variety of design options that you can install throughout a building in the subsequent areas:
- Fixed windows
- Entrance halls
- Deck access flats
- Fire escape routes
- Fixed fanlights
Protecting properties throughout the UK
The RAUFERNO rated fire uPVC system has already enjoyed mass successes amongst various areas in Britain, most recently being installed as part of a screen replacement contract for Whitefriars Housing Association in Coventry.
Their property services department wanted to replaced the single glazed timber screens in 13 blocks of maisonettes, looking for a low maintenance alternative which could also provide adequate fire resistance for occupant safety. The REHAU RAUFERNO fire window as supplied by Astraseal was the only option that met these requirements.
